Plagmann Family Scholarship

Criteria

The Gary Plagmann Memorial Scholarship was established by his family in 2011. Gary was involved in the Telecommunications Industry in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota for nearly 40 years and participated in many rural telephone company upgrades during his career. Sheryl was a graduate of the Secretarial Program in 1970. She then returned to Mitchell Tech and worked in the Foundation Office for 16 years before retiring.

Applicant must be a full-time current enrolled student in the Wi-Fi and Broadband/Telecom Program, Accounting, Business Management, or Social Servies program. Applicant must be a resident of South Dakota Applicant must have a GPA of 2.5 or better Applicants must complete the MTC Online application during the open application period to be eligible for this scholarship

Avera Queen of Peace Endowed Scholarships

Avera Queen of Peace is a leading supporter and partner of Mitchell Technical College. An endowment was established in 2002 and now provides scholarships each year to MTC’s Health Science programs. The scholarships will be awarded in January each year and applied to recipient’s accounts the following Fall semester.
