- Contact the MTI Admissions office for an application packet. Application requirements include visitation of a radiology department; submission of a written essay describing and analyzing the visit; and resume and references.
- Students are allowed a maximum of two attempts to gain admission to the program.
Academic Requirements: Students must complete all technical courses with a minimum grade of C (2.0) in order to become registry-eligible. Students who do not achieve a C (2.0) grade will be prevented from enrolling in the subsequent semester due to prerequisite requirements.
Immunization Requirements: Some immunization requirements may have to be met before entrance to certain clinical sites. See an instructor for details.
Computer Requirements: This program allows you to bring your own laptop as long as it meets these minimum specifications:
Processor – Intel Core i Series (i3, i5, i7) or AMD Ryzen
Operating System – Windows 10
Memory - 4 GB or more
Internal Storage – 64 GB or more
Microsoft Office is available at no charge as long as enrolled at MTI

Licensure Considerations: Upon completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to apply for the ARRT certification and registration in Radiography (R). This ARRT certification is recognized in 49 states (California has its own state-administered ARRT exams) and will allow graduates to pursue state licensure if required in their state. It is the student's responsibility to determine the requirements for licensure in their state.
