The primary purpose of the Ag Internship Fair is to facilitate spring internship opportunities for students enrolled in the Ag Business, Agronomy, Animal Science and Precision Ag Technology programs. These internship experiences begin in late March and run through the the second week of May. In an effort to connect employers and students in a timely manner, Mitchell Tech hosts an annual ag internship fair specifically for companies and students interested in the ag industry.

The Mitchell Tech ag-related programs that begin internships in mid-spring (March) are:

  • Agronomy
  • Animal Science
  • Precision Ag Technology

Generally, after completing the internship requirements, first-year students continue with employment through the summer until returning to complete their education mid-August. Second-year students may choose to continue as a permanent placement if both parties agree.
