5th Annual MItchell Tech Ag Internship Fair
Thursday, October 14, 2021
1:30 – 3:00 pm
Nordby Trades Center
Begin your search for the next bright, skills trained, technical school graduate(s) to join your staff.
The primary purpose of the Ag Internship Fair is to facilitate spring internship opportunities for students enrolled in the Ag Business, Agronomy, Animal Science and Precision Ag Technology programs. These internship experiences begin in late March and run through the the second week of May. In an effort to connect employers and students in a timely manner, Mitchell Tech hosts an annual ag internship fair specifically for companies and students interested in the ag industry.
The Mitchell Tech ag-related programs that begin internships in mid-spring (March) are:
- Ag Business
- Animal Science
- Precision Ag Technology
Generally, after completing the internship requirements, first-year students continue with employment through the summer until returning to complete their education mid-August. Second-year students may choose to continue as a permanent placement if both parties agree.
This is a fair environment, not set up for formal interviewing, more of a recruiting/pre-screening opportunity. However, if you find that you have qualified candidates that wish to interview with your organization, a formal interview location may be arranged immediately following the fair.
If your company is in the agricultural industry, don’t miss this FREE talent recruitment event!
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR EMPLOYERS
Mitchell Tech’s Career Services site houses all functions of career services and is powered by the software platform 12Twenty. Employers can post jobs & internships, register for career and internship fairs, host candidate interviews, and request permission to conduct candidate searches.
