Meals are served in the Campus Center for a charge during the hours students are in attendance. A variety of tasty meals including a cafeteria line, a short order grill and a grab-and-go cooler offer a wide variety of selections.
Most days, hot breakfast is served. If you're short on time, you'll find cereals, protein bars, fresh fruit and yogurt and, of course, several coffee and juice selections. If you have the time, treat yourself to a tasty omelet, breakfast burrito or other savory breakfast.
At lunch time you can indulge in a wide variety of choices ranging from steak to hot dishes to specialty items like chislic.
Meals and individual items are very reasonably priced. All food is made by students in Mitchell Tech's highly regarded Culinary Academy. Each day's menu is posted via email and on campus electronic monitors.
How You Pay: CAFE´ CASH
Students are encouraged to use the Café Cash cashless payment system. You can load your account to make food purchases from the Chef's Café by stopping by or going online to purchase. Deposits in the amount of $500, $250 and $125 may be made. Chef's Café purchases can then be made with your student ID card. Only the holder of the ID card may use it for Café purchases. Any balance at the end of the fall semester will be transeferred to the spring semester. Any balance remaining at the end of the spring semester will be forfeited. Refunds may be issued to students who withdraw from school in the first ten days of the semester in which the Café Cash was purchased.
Our food service also accepts cash and debit cards.
