The Gift of Words SLPA Scholarship

Established in April 2024 by Michael and Deborah Asmus, this scholarship reflects their family’s commitment to supporting future Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) professionals. Their daughter, Kelsey Range, graduated from Mitchell Tech’s SLPA program in 2017 and has found great fulfillment in working with nonverbal children, helping them develop communication skills and blossom into blessings for their families. Through this scholarship, the Asmus family hopes to encourage and support students pursuing careers dedicated to improving the lives of others.
