At the completion of this program, graduates will be able to:
- Understand the legal system as it relates to the business environment
- Record financial transactions and prepare financial statements for a business
- Apply current and emerging technologies to business situations
- Analyze data and draw appropriate statistical conclusions
- Identify documents, records, and basic transactions used in the accounting process
- Perform basic financial accounting functions for a state or local government unit
- Complete federal income tax returns including income, deductions and credits
- Understand advertising strategies
- Exhibit professional demeanor through appropriate conduct, dress, and work ethic
