A MESSAGE FROM TERESA HART |
|
The mission of the Mitchell Technical Institute Alumni Association is to
promote the interests of the institute and to create opportunities for
alumni to participate fully in the life, vitality and future of the
Mitchell Technical Institute. I graduated from MTI in 1996 in the CST program. I am now a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones Investments. My husband is Chris Hart and we have two beautiful children, Kelsi and Kaden. Association officers recently elected were Vice President, Kelly Moller Odens (MLT, 1999), and Jack Docken (Ag Tech, 1972), Secretary/Treasurer. I would like to thank Sheryl Plagmann and all the officers for the hard work and dedication they have shown this committee. They were, and remain to be, an integral part of making this association a huge success. Some of the events the board took part in this past year included the Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo Parade, Class of 1982 Agricultural Technology reunion during Dakota Fest, and participation in several MTI Foundation events. Looking ahead, we are excited to be planning MTI's 40th Anniversary celebration. The celebration will be a year long event beginning in September 2008. It will be a time to look back and remember the last 40 years as well as looking with optimism and clarity at the next 40+ years. I would like to thank all those who graduated from MTI, attend MTI, and support MTI. We are proof that Mitchell Technical Institute is no longer just a technical way to get an education; it's a technical way to get a career education.
