Only applications for Fall 2007 are free. Spring 2008 or Fall 2008 applications are $35 each.

How to Apply
  1. Complete the online application form and submit.
  2. Send non-refundable $35 application fee (check or money order payable to "Mitchell Technical Institute"). You may be eligible for FREE online registration! Call the MTI Admissions office at 1-800-684-1969 for details.
  3. Request transcripts from high school and/or colleges or technical schools attended or GED scores.
  4. Provide MTI with a copy of your birth certificate or driver’s license (proof of birth date).
  5. Request scores from schools or agencies for any of the following tests you may have taken: ACT, SAT, TABE, ASSET/Compass, APS, etc.
  6. If above testing was not completed or scores do not meet program standards, complete an assessment of skills test at Mitchell Tech.

You do not have to wait until all information is gathered to start the application process. As soon as your online application is processed and the application fee is paid, you will be contacted about completing the remaining steps of the application process. If you know what program/major you want, apply as soon as possible. Your acceptance into Mitchell Tech will be made as soon as all of the above are received and reviewed. Acceptance may also require you to visit with an admissions counselor.
