Energy Division Spring 2011 Newsletter

MTI Outreach includes options that allow off-campus students to get started in an MTI degree program from their local community or high school.  Due to the extensive hands-on lab requirements for our programs, students must complete their studies on the MTI campus to receive a diploma or a degree.  However, MTI Outreach provides an opportunity to try some classes, learn more about technical education, and get started on your studies without leaving home.  Options include: on-site face-to-face classes in the Huron and Yankton communities; dual-credit Introduction to Energy Career Training or Communications/Information Technology training designed for high school students, and the MTI Wind Turbine Technology Diploma program offered in cooperation with Sinte Gleska University on their campus in Mission SD.  More information on each of these programs is available from the links below.
