This course is a comprehensive study of basic electronic circuits and the operation of their electronic components being used in the SCADA industry. The students will become familiar with solid state electronic components and their relationship to mechanical motor controls. This course provides hands-on experience with soldering, electronic components, color code, Ohm's law, and reading circuit diagrams. The student will also learn to troubleshoot solid state switching devices, methods of installation, replacement, repair and diagnosis of equipment.
